Survivor: Brazil was the thirty-seventh season of Survivor.
The season ended when Neleh won the title of Sole Survivor, beating Tomas and Sidney by a 8-1-0 jury vote at the Final Tribal Council. The season featured 20 contestants dubbed as "castaways" marooned on two separate beaches in the Tocantins in Brazil. They were divided into two tribes: Zili green and Braan in yellow. The tribes are a division of the word Brazilian (braZILIan and BRAziliAN). On Day 19, the tribes merged into the red Jalapão tribe.
The hidden immunity was featured this season. Two were hidden; one for each original tribe.
The main twist this season, or lack thereof, was a back to the basics season. This meant no tribal swaps, no odd divisions, no Outcast Island, or twists. This was primiarly due to the highly controversial twist in the earlier season which divided the tribes by ethnicity. The winner of this season, Neleh, was originally slated to be part of the Raka tribe in Cook Islands, but was ultimately cut at the last moment.
At the finale, unlike the previous two finales, an All-Star list was not read. Producers later revealed this to be because none of the castaways were considered All-Star material. However, Neleh did return to play in Survivor: Superstars.
